Sean Hannity is a nationally syndicated radio and television personality who works for the FOX News Network.

Recently, Rupert Murdoch, owner of FOX News, as well as a score of other mainstream media outlets, has been reported on in the mainstream presses as one of Hillary Clinton's largest campaign contributors for the 2008 presidential race...

Hannity goes on the air every day and proceeds to attack Clinton, as well as the seemingly fictional entity he always refers to as "liberals"... meanwhile, the guy who signs his check is literally funding Hillary.

Sean Hannity is a yellow journalist and a propagandist and his job essentially is to mislead and confuse well-meaning conservatives about the truly important issues facing our nation, and also to reinforce the Left/Right paradigm, which serves to keep Americans blind to or divided about the tyranny that is quickly enveloping our country.

The Pentagon is spending billions of dollars on new forms of space warfare to counter the growing risk of missile attack from rogue states and the "satellite killer" capabilities of China.

Congress has allocated funds to develop futuristic weapons and intelligence systems that operate beyond the Earth's atmosphere as America looks past Iraq and Afghanistan to the wars of the future.

The most ambitious project in a new $459 billion (£221.5 billion) defence spending Bill is the Falcon, a reusable "hypersonic vehicle" that could fly at six times the speed of sound and deliver 12,000lb of bombs anywhere in the world within minutes.

The bombs' destructive power would be multiplied by the Earth's gravitational pull as they travelled at up to 25 times the speed of sound towards their target.

The cost of the vehicle has not been revealed, but a spokesman for the Pentagon's Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) said a first test flight was scheduled for next year. →

Top Down Demolition

One of the main arguments defenders of the official story have made against the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers is that demolitions never start at the top of the building. In other words, they claim that demolitions always start at the bottom and proceed upwards.

However, a new video shows an example of a top-down demolition of another building:

Moreover, there were numerous reports of huge explosions in the basement and other locations well below the collapse zones in the Twin Towers. For example, a stationary engineer who worked in the basement of one of the towers testified that an entire below-level garage and a 50-ton hydraulic press were demolished long before the tower collapsed.

Therefore, the demolition of the Twin Towers was, arguably, not that dissimilar from the video of many demolitions -- such as Seattle's King Dome -- where explosions and squibs are seen at the bottom of the building before the top comes down.

Because the basements of the Twin Towers were solid (and because the Twin Towers were occupied, not abandoned -- and often times gutted -- as they are prior to conventional demolitions), explosions in the basement and core of the Twin Towers would not necessarily have been visible from the outside of the building. So they would not have been visible on video. In any event, some explosions were visible prior to the collapse of the Twin Towers, as the video record shows.

Closing the 'Collapse Gap': the USSR was better prepared for collapse than the US

Democracy a misnomer for what was created

Many people with whom I talk about politics with are stunned by my constant assertions that America is not supposed to be a democracy. I credit public education for this. The fact is that most people are almost totally ignorant of history and completely brain-dead about the Constitution.

Our Founding Fathers did not give us a democracy, nor did they intend to. They were very well-educated men (especially by today's standards), and they knew, historically, democracies had never worked, even on the small scales when they had been attempted. They knew if democracy wouldn't work on the small scale of a city-state (like Athens), then it certainly wouldn't work on the large scale of 13 separate states in a federalist union.

What we were given was better: a representative republic. →

Immoral Relativism: George Bush’s nomination of Michael Mukasey for U.S. attorney general — once thought to be smooth sailing — is experiencing a bit of turbulence. The problem is, Mukasey can’t bring himself to say whether or not waterboarding is torture:

During his confirmation hearings earlier this month, Mukasey said he believes torture violates the Constitution, but he refused to be pinned down on whether he believes specific interrogation techniques, such as waterboarding, are constitutional.

“I don’t know what’s involved in the techniques. If waterboarding is torture, torture is not constitutional,” he said.

But after World War II, the United States government was quite clear about the fact that waterboarding was torture, at least when it was done to U.S. citizens:

[In] 1947, the United States charged a Japanese officer, Yukio Asano, with war crimes for carrying out another form of waterboarding on a U.S. civilian. The subject was strapped on a stretcher that was tilted so that his feet were in the air and head near the floor, and small amounts of water were poured over his face, leaving him gasping for air until he agreed to talk.

“Asano was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor,” Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) told his colleagues last Thursday during the debate on military commissions legislation. “We punished people with 15 years of hard labor when waterboarding was used against Americans in World War II,” he said →
