Since his last combat deployment in Iraq, Jeremy Hall has had a rough time, getting shoved and threatened by his fellow soldiers. The trouble started there when he would not pray in the mess hall.

"A senior ranking staff sergeant told me to leave and sit somewhere else because I refused to pray," Hall, a 23-year-old US army specialist, told AFP.

Later, Hall was confronted by a major for holding an authorized meeting of "atheists and freethinkers" on his base. The officer threatened to discipline him and block his re-enlistment.

"He said: 'You guys are being a problem and problems can be removed,'" Hall said. "He was
yelling at us and stuff and at the very end he says, 'I really love you guys, I want you to see the light.'"

Now Hall is suing the major and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, accusing them of breaching his constitutional rights.

A campaign group, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, is waiting for the Pentagon to respond to a lawsuit filed in a Kansas federal court on Hall's behalf.

However - when the students tried to walk out - the school had police and administrators block the doors. Students were shoved and hit in the chaos - and attack dogs were waiting in the school parking lot for any students that may have gotten outside. From archive material from the 1940s onward, it has become apparent that the Rockefeller Foundation has for decades now fanatically nurtured research into fear-inducing brainwashing techniques for the masses.

In a series of generous grants in the 1940s- and 50s, extended to Professor Carl I. Hovland of Yale University, the Foundation actively funded research into "the psychological mechanisms through which communications exert their influence." Main research subject deals with the question of "how the individual deals with the welter of conflicting ideas with which he is constantly bombarded; how "wishful thinking" and emotional bias affect judgment; and whether the judgment process is transferred from one situation to another are among the problems to be studied", we read in the 1954 Rockefeller yearly report.

Hovland, besides conducting research into behavioral and attitude-changes of groups, was also part of the Rockefeller Foundation's social science staff. In addition to that, the professor was heavily involved in other branches of the Anglo-American establishment. In the study Origins of mass communications research during the American cold war by Timothy Glander, the author explains:

"(...) Hovland held key positions on several major national boards, including the Air Force's Human Resources Research Institute, the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Office of Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, and he doubtlessly had input in determining the research agendas that these organizations pursued."

Already in 1948 the Foundation was directing cash toward Hovland and his team. In the 1948 report the authors outlined the reasons behind the grants given:

"An understanding of communication and attitude change is important to our educational system, to those who lead great organizations, and to those who are concerned with political opinion and behavior. More dependable knowledge of how effective communication may be achieved in the area of attitude and opinion is essential (...)."

In the days of the Cold War, propaganda was often so blatantly obvious to the accustomed-to-freedom westerner that it was more easily identifiable as such. The Rockefeller Foundation understood that the American people needed to be subjected to more sophisticated forms of manipulation if the gradual push for global government was to be effectively sold in the decades to come.

A program titled "A Canadian Concern" recently aired on CBC's The National which takes a look at the Freeman Movement here in Canada. The program was an all out hit piece designed to demonize the movement and portray "freemen on the land" as potentially violent cop killers! Press For Truth documented the entire interview that was conducted by the CBC with freeman Robert Menard in order to protect the integrity of the movement and to counter the propaganda that is being spewed by CBC's The National. Pentagon Admits Desecration of 9/11 Remains

A new report released on Monday by the Pentagon reveals that some of the unidentifiable remains from victims at the Pentagon and Shanksville sites on September 11th were disposed of in a landfill.

The details come from the findings of a review committee examining operations of the Air Force Mortuaty division at Dover Air Force Base. In the report, it is noted that before 2008, disposal of unidentified remains was delegated of by subcontractors. The guidelines at the time called for the contractors to incinerate the remains and dump the ashes in landfills.

The US is famous for going to other countries with goals ranging from retaliation to installing democracy to stopping a civil war. And quite often the US government and the military alike are surprised at what they find: that people in those countries don't want them there and, in many cases, will risk or sacrifice their lives to make sure they leave.

We're seeing a new low point in America's longest war, unfolding as we speak - riots in Afghanistan, as citizens there protest the burning of Korans by US military personnel at Bagram airbase. Some American soldiers have been killed and many more Afghan citizens are dying as well. And there's beginning to be a sense that the battle to win the hearts and minds there is simply impossible.

Paul Craig Roberts, former official with the Reagan administration, speaks to Aaron Dykes about what happens if things don't change dramatically.
