Simon Johnson on Wall Street's Influence Over Washington
David Shuster talks to former IMF chief economist Simon Johnson about whether the United States could be headed for another great depression. After getting tough with the auto industry they discuss why Wall Street is not getting the same treatment. They also discuss Simon Johnson's article at The Atlantic The Quiet Coup. From the article:
The crash has laid bare many unpleasant truths about the United States. One of the most alarming, says a former chief economist of the International Monetary Fund, is that the finance industry has effectively captured our government—a state of affairs that more typically describes emerging markets, and is at the center of many emerging-market crises. If the IMFs staff could speak freely about the U.S., it would tell us what it tells all countries in this situation: recovery will fail unless we break the financial oligarchy that is blocking essential reform. And if we are to prevent a true depression, were running out of time.

Sex Control Rant Eugenics Mind Control Report College Girl
March 29, 2009
This video is rant about Eugenics and sex control and brings up several points about how eugenics is really nothing more than selectively breeding human brings. It gives examples of what has happened to species in the past where man has taken over sexual selection away from nature.
Would eugenics really be used to create a better human being or would it be used to create better soldiers, more controllable slaves, more attractive prostitutes or a super intelligent ruling class.
21st Century Schizoid Men
March 29, 2009
Even immediate family members often describe the SCHIZOID as “disconnected”, "robots", or "machines". But the schizoid is not depressed, merely indifferent. As such, borderline schizoid personalities thrive in a culture that celebrates the self above the group, is charged with masochism, and thrive in what Eisenhower called the “military-industrial-academic complex.”

US Military Suicides, Veteran Mental Health & Psychiatry
March 25, 2009
Dr. Breeding talks about the use of psychiatry with military personnel and veterans.
Drugs are given to soldiers to help block emotional reactions to combat, lower the stress of combat, block pain or even fight off fatigue or lack of sleep.
Once a veteran comes home, psychiatry continues to treat soldiers with drugs for post traumatic stress disorder or PTSD.
However, people take certain combinations of these drugs can experience adverse events such as weight gain, heart problems, psychosis, increased risk of suicide and even death.

1957 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins.. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies.
2007 - Police called and SWAT team arrives -- they arrest both Johnny and Mark. They are both charged them with assault and both expelled even though Johnny started it.
Scenario 3:

ACLU files clas s action lawsuit against the state school system and Pedro's English teacher. English is then banned from core curriculum. Pedro is given his diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he cannot speak English.
Scenario 7:
Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from the Fourth of July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle and blows up a red ant bed.

2007- ATF, Homeland Security and the FBI are all called. Johnny is charged with domestic terrorism. The FBI investigates his parents -- and all siblings are removed from their home and all computers are confiscated. Johnny's dad is placed on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Chuck Todd Apparently Thinks Americans Haven't Suffered Enough
By Heather
Here is what I thought was one of the more infuriating moments of last night's press conference. Chuck Todd with this doozie:
Todd: Some have compared this financial crisis to a war and in times of war past Presidents have called for some form of sacrifice. Some of your programs whether main street or Wall Street have actually cushioned the blow for those that were irresponsible during this economic period of prosperity, supposed prosperity that you were talking about. Why, given this new era of responsibility that you're asking for why haven't you asked for something specific that the public should be sacrificing to participate in this economic recovery?
Really, Chuck Todd? You're joking, right? If you had asked what he should have asked Wall Street to sacrifice, that would have been one thing. But the public? Unbelievable.

Silvio Gesell - Free Money & The Natural Economic Order
"Of great value is Silvio Gesell's proposal to introduce a medium of exchange that does not, as at present, gain in value from year to year, but, on the contrary, loses value progressively, so that anyone who has obtained possession of the medium of exchange has no other interest than to exchange it again as soon as possible for the produce of others. Gesell is one of the very few who have recognised Proudhon's greatness, and while learning from him, have succeeded in developing his theories along independent lines."

"Perp Walks Instead of Bonuses": Veteran Journalist Robert Scheer on AIG Bonuses, the "Backdoor Bailout" and Why Obama Should Fire Geithner, Summers
Appearing on Capitol Hill, AIG CEO Edward Liddy was repeatedly questioned over why the failed insurance giant is paying out over $165 million in bonuses after it received a $170 billion taxpayer bailout. While the Obama administration is expressing outrage, more details have come to light indicating that some officials have known about the bonuses for months. Meanwhile, little attention has been paid to what might be a bigger scandal: AIGs funneling of tens of billions of dollars in taxpayer bailout money to other banks. We speak to veteran journalist and Truthdig editor Robert Scheer, author of the forthcoming The Great American Stickup: Greedy Bankers and the Politicians Who Love Them.

DN - Bush lied about torture of prisoners
Mark Danner: Bush Lied About Torture of Prisoners
The International Committee of the Red Cross concluded in a secret report two years ago that the Bush administrations treatment of prisoners constituted torture in violation of the Geneva Conventions. The findings were based on interviews with prisoners once held in the CIAs secret black sites. Author and journalist Mark Danner broke the story when he published extensive excerpts of the report in the New York Review of Books. The Red Cross said the fourteen prisoners held in the CIA prisons gave remarkably uniform accounts of abuse that included beatings, sleep deprivation, extreme temperatures and, in some cases, waterboarding.

Lawyers' Group Urges Bush Be Arrested or Barred from Canada in First Trip Abroad Since Leaving Office
As former President George W. Bush heads to Canada today for his first trip abroad since leaving the White House, a group of Canadian lawyers are trying to block Bushs entry into their country. Lawyers Against the War says Bush should be either barred or detained for condoning the use of torture at overseas jails. If Canadian officials wont deny Bush entry, the lawyers say Bush should be arrested and tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
