The Obama Fraud: An Open Video to Barack Obama Supporters
Barack Obama is being hailed by his supporters as one of the greatest leaders to ever guide America. He is the voice of hope and change that this county is dying for. Unfortunately, when you look past the side issues and media hype, you discover that there is little meaning to his rhetoric. He is controlled by the same corporate and globalist interests that Bush and Clinton were controlled by. He is a C.F.R. puppet and it is very dangerous to blindly support him.

Veracifier February 27, 2009 We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States will emerge stronger than before. That was the message sent by President Obama during his address to the joint session of congress on Tuesday night. Like a doctor talking to the family of an obese patient who has just undergone quadruple bypass surgery, President Obama had to walk the tightrope of instilling a sense of urgency and a sense of optimism to the American people. For, just like our hypothetical heart patient, America as we know must undergo a metamorphosis or all of America’s yesterdays will have “lighted fools the way to dusty death.” Metamorphosis- change- is what we bought when we elected Obama- and the time has come- as he said- to act boldly and wisely. Among the metaphors that Obama used to illustrate the change that lie ahead what struck me most was his mention of the town Greensburg, Kansas, a town that was completely destroyed by a tornado, but is being rebuilt by its residents as a global example of how clean energy can power an entire community how it can bring jobs and businesses to a place where piles of bricks and rubble once lay. "The tragedy was terrible," said one of the men who helped them rebuild." But the folks here know that it also provided an incredible opportunity." From the rubble of our economic crisis, what how do we rebuild? By stimulating lending- Obama says- giving more money to banks- but telling us it is really to benefit main street- because we must grow- Obama says. Growth is good. Bigger is better. Right. America must continue biggering and biggering. So Joe the bus driver and Jane the teacher can buy more things. Cuz we need things. What is the real cost of our addiction to more things? Consider our foreign policy…. From the rubble of our health care crisis, how do we rebuild? By enacting reform that will give more public dollars to health care and insurance companies and moving towards the day when all citizens are required to purchase healthcare? OR Do ...

About the School of the Americas / Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation
The US Army School of Americas (SOA), based in Fort Benning, Georgia, trains Latin American security personnel in combat, counter-insurgency, and counter-narcotics. SOA graduates are responsible for some of the worst human rights abuses in Latin America. In 1996 the Pentagon was forced to release training manuals used at the school that advocated torture, extortion and execution. Among the SOA's nearly 60,000 graduates are notorious dictators Manuel Noriega and Omar Torrijos of Panama, Leopoldo Galtieri and Roberto Viola of Argentina, Juan Velasco Alvarado of Peru, Guillermo Rodriguez of Ecuador, and Hugo Banzer Suarez of Bolivia. Lower-level SOA graduates have participated in human rights abuses that include the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero and the El Mozote Massacre of 900 civilians. soaw.org
bravenewfilms February 26, 2009 full video President Obama has committed 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan. This decision raises serious questions about troops, costs, overall mission, and exit strategy. Historically, it has been Congress' duty to ask questions in the form of oversight hearings that challenge policymakers, examine military spending, and educate the public. After witnessing the absence of oversight regarding the Iraq war, we must insist Congress hold hearings on Afghanistan.
Watch the first part from our full-length documentary that will serve as a driving force to help make oversight hearings a reality. Sign the petition urging oversight and tell us what questions you would ask.

Paul Krugman: Jindal and the GOP Just Finding Things That Sound Silly and Making Stuff Up
February 26, 2009 Keith Olbermann and Paul Krugman break down some of Bobby Jindal's speech and the distortions and outright lies that were told in it. Krugman pretty well hits the nail on the head here:
Uh, I don't think there was much of an argument there. You really have, you know I've said it was Beavis and Butthead. They find things that sound silly if you don't actually know anything, so gosh, volcano monitoring. Why would you want to monitor a volcano? Because it might erupt and kill a lot of people. Uh, but they're basically reduced to just picking out a few things or in some cases just making stuff up. The salt marsh mouse thing on the stimulus and saying this is stupid. See government is stupid. Cut taxes. It's not much of an argument.
Amen brother. Nate's got more on the volcano monitoring comment. As I already noted in "Bill Adair shot down the mouse nonsense on Morning Joe", much to their dismay. There's a good diary up on the boat story over at Daily Kos.
The Cafferty File: GOP in position to talk fiscal responsibility?
February 26, 2009 In the Republican response to President Obamas speech last night, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal called the stimulus package irresponsible. He said it will grow government, increase taxes in the future and saddle future generations with debt.
Who among us would ask our children for a loan, so we could spend money we do not have, on things we do not need? That is precisely what the Democrats in Congress just did, said Jindal.
Interesting, after the last 8 years, it would seem that Republicans are hardly in a position to lecture anyone about fiscal responsibility. When President Bush took office in 2000, the national debt was about $5.7 trillion dollars, which after two wars and lots of other spending, is now approaching $11 trillion. President Bush ran up more debt for this country than all previous presidents combined.
Jindal acknowledged last night that in recent years, our party got away from its principles. No kidding.

[NOTE: As I’ve written many times before, the goal of the Power Elite (PE) is a World Socialist Government. Critical to coercing Americans to accept Socialism is the nationalization of key sectors of the economy, such as banking. I’ve indicated in the past that this type of coercion would be brought about by an economic crisis, such as the one we are currently experiencing. Relevant to this, Jon Meacham and Evan Thomas wrote “We Are All Socialists Now” (Newsweek, Feb. 16, 2009), and Matthew Richardson and Nouriel Roubini wrote “Nationalize the Banks! We’re all Swedes Now!” (The Washington Post, Feb. 15, 2009) which begins: “The U.S. banking system is close to being insolvent, and unless we want to become like Japan in the 1990s—or the United States in the 1930s—the only way to save it is to nationalize it.” Even Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham on ABC’s “This Week” (Feb. 15, 2009) indicated we should consider the possibility of nationalizing banks.
[And in case you think this crisis happened accidentally, just consider the fact that “the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) waived the 12 to 1 leverage ratios for the five biggest investment banks. Those banks then leveraged 40 to 1 and collapsed the worldwide financial system” (January 5, 2009 Financial Sense editorial by James Quinn of the Wharton Business School). Do you really believe no one could see what the disastrous results of going from 12 to 1 leveraging to 40 to 1 would be? When these banks started taking losses, Quinn has also pointed out, their capital was immediately wiped out and the problem was dumped in the taxpayers’ laps.] →

Soldier refuses to return to Iraq for 'immoral' duty
February 25, 2009 Soldier refuses to return to Iraq for immoral duty By David Edwards WBAYs Adam Aaro reported talked to a Wisconsin soldier who says he is refusing to return to Iraq on the grounds that is immoral. Christopher Walker has been a soldier with the Army since 2002. Early this morning, I made a decision not to go back to Iraq, Walker told Aaro.
Walker sent a email to superiors letting them know his position. A spokesman for the Army said that was the wrong way to go about requesting a new unit. Walter said that he has attempted to follow the Armys regulations but the process hasnt worked. He realizes that his decision may result in repercussions. If he doesnt report within 30 days, a warrant will be issued for his arrest. Obviously, there is a little bit of nervousness there because its a very real possibility, said Walker. But what are the consequences on the flip side, if I decide to go back to Iraq and do something thats immoral.

Aspartame, Brain Cancer & the FDA Approval Process
The approval of aspartame was the most contested in FDA history. The sweetener was not approved on scientific grounds but because of strong political and financial pressure.
Aspartame was 'discovered' in 1965 by Searle, a Chicago drug company. The FDA finally approved aspartame in 1981, even though scientific research had clearly shown that aspartame caused brain cancer in lab animals.
The tests Searle used to determine the safety of aspartame were severely flawed. Searle used unscientific lab practices, falsified data and withheld crucial information during the FDA approval process.
Because aspartame caused brain tumors in lab animals, it poses a real cancer risk to humans as well. Cancer is increasing in western countries and will soon be the leading cause of death.
Aspartame (E951) is now used in more than 6000 products and millions of people worldwide use the sweetener on a daily basis. In addition to causing cancer, aspartame also causes many other health problems including obesity, diabetes, migraines, brain diseases, ADHD, etc.
The US Department of Health has recorded 92 (!) symptoms following complaints about aspartame. In fact, over 80% of all complaints filed with FDA are aspartame related! 321recipes.com/symptoms.html
Some of the brand names for aspartame: NutraSweet, Equal, NatraTaste, Canderel, Spoonful, Equal-Measure
