Designed to Incite, not Inform
Substantially form without content, this exhibition attempts to whip sympathy for a United States wallowing in the cult of victimhood into chauvinistic hubris for the War between the Cultures by stylishly presenting a potpouri of non-evidential and unsubstantiated artifacts.
On entering the exhibition three commented kiosks shove the usual grainy portraits representing the fait accompli of the alleged 19 Islamic hijackers at the visitor. Nowhere is mentioned their history of proximity to US military installations nor the subsequent survival of several of them.
On exiting, the viewer is served a wide-screen video of George Bush claiming the event is a justification for war against Afghanistan and Iraq. →
