Shocking Awful - Real Face of Occupation

They're calling it "Shock and Awe ," as in a combination high altitude, precision, air strikes... low altitude precision strikes on mobile units, and overwhelming presence of technology supported mobility... so devastating they would leave Saddam's soldiers unable or unwilling to fight.

In this respect, shock and awe bears a striking similarity to terrorism as propaganda, in which psychological rather than material dominance is viewed as a primary war objective. (The terrorist attacks of September 11 also induced "shock and awe" in the U.S. population.)
