Where is the GM Recall Hype? 14 Crashes confirmed, 1.3 Million Recalled.

I noticed the GM recall story lacks the hype Toyota experienced. Day 2 and the story is DEAD. Where are all the interviews with victims? These recalls go back to 2005 vehicles, where in the hell did the media go?
