Kayleigh discusses the new revision of the DSM-V Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. This is psychiatry bible for listing out mental disorders and its being revised once again. This time American Psychiatric Association plan to add a number of new disorders for both children and adults including failure to adjust, children having tantrums and a number of new learning disorders.
This is controversial as a number of psychologists and psychiatrists have an increasing concern that just about all human behaviors could be classified as mental illnesses.
