The organisers at Winter Olympics in Vancouver have shortened the luge track for both men and women as an extra safety precaution, following the death of Nodar Kumaritashvili. Training resumed at the Sliding Center, although the town of Whistler, which is also staging bobsleigh, downhill and Nordic events, remained in mourning on Saturday.
