Obama summit: More jobs or just talk?

New jobless numbers seem to indicate that the economic situation in the United States is improving, but these numbers do not reflect everyone who is out of work. Do the numbers really imply the beginnings of an economic recovery? On Thursday, Barack Obama held a jobs summit at the White House, but it is unclear whether this summit had any effect besides moving attention away from other issues and back to the economic crisis.
