Have scientists discovered a new inhabitable planet?

Scientists have discovered a "waterworld" super Earth that is only 42 light years away. The planet reportedly has a surface temperature around 530 degrees F and could be made up of 75% water. So is this planet inhabitable and could this be a refuge for humans if those Mayan prophecies come true and the world ends in 2012?
