Make this the merriest Christmas of them all. Then, next year, buy all the junk your neighbor's went into debt for this year. They'll need the money to make their next mortgage payment. You'll enjoy the cool junk you get because you'll get it for pennies on the dollar. That is, if the dollar is still around in 2010.
