Iraqi death toll: closer to one million?

A new report by Iraq's Human Rights Ministry reveals that the Iraqi death toll since the war began is over 80,000 with over a hundred thousand wounded. This is the first official report by the government on the death toll, an issue that has been hotly contested in the past. So why are these numbers finally coming out now, and how accurate are they?
