US Economy: Recovering or getting worse?

Just one year ago, the U.S. economy reached a breaking point. Major financial institutions folded, the real estate bubble burst, and people were losing their jobs at unprecedented rates. In the midst of the hysteria, it seemed that the U.S. Government took much more control over the economy, giving some institutions such as the Federal Reserve more power. One year later, Fed officials say that the economy is starting to recover, yet others say that the worst is yet to come. So who should we believe? And what is the future not just of the U.S. economy but of the global financial institutions as well? RT's Dina Gusovsky speaks to Ethan Pollack from the Economic Policy Institute.
