Asteroids to hit planet earth?

According to a Federal Report, NASA, the one institution responsible for spotting asteroids that could pose a threat to planet earth does not have enough funding to complete this project. The telescope systems currently in place only allow for about one third of the project to be completed, and it seems the U.S. Congress is not providing any funding to update these systems. So what could happen with these potential threats? Armageddon? RT's Dina Gusovsky discusses the scary prospects of this global problem with Berin Szoka from the Space Frontier Foundation.
