NC REAL ID ACTION ALERT ACT NOW!

The NC Senate has the Budget and are trying to get it back to the House by April 15th. We need to call every day and even several times a day.

ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Please contact the following members of the NC Senate and ask them to
insert the following into our budget.

“North Carolina will no longer provide funding for the DMV to collect
and store biometric data of driver’s license and ID card applicants nor
shall they fund the use of Facial Recognition Technology (FRT).
Furthermore, NC will not provide any funding for the Real ID Act.”

-You would also encourage them to add the following language with the
above paragraph to the budget.

-Let him know that we had a majority bipartisan vote in favor of
opposing the Real ID with HB2136 and we would like him to help us with
this issue.

do is to look at HB 2136
