Ron Paul on Limbaugh: 'He's absolutely wrong'
MSNBCs 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
By David Edwards
Rep. Ron Paul joined MSNBCs David Shuster to talk about the controversy surrounding Rush Limbaugh. Shuster asked Paul if Rush Limbaugh was wrong to say Republicans wanted President Obama to fail but Paul was more interested in discussing why Limbaugh wouldnt stand up for civil liberties.
How can we have that argument, when even you, Ron Paul, are not willing to take this opportunity to say when Rush Limbaugh says every Republican wants President Obama to fail, Rush Limbaugh is wrong? asked Shuster.
You want to control the definitions. Yes, hes wrong. If he — he doesnt have the same understanding as somebody else. Hes absolutely wrong. And you cant put your definition on a particular word about failure. I want — I want those goals to be successful. I dont want his philosophy to be successful, replied Paul.
