Sharpton: Murdoch newspaper compares Obama to chimpanzee

Rev. Al Sharpton told MSNBCs Tamron Hall that a cartoon in Rupert Murdochs New York Post compares President Obama to a dead Chimpanzee. Sharpton sees the cartoon a racial slur.

People are saying theres no way you cant draw a racial reference here. What does a chimpanzee have to do with the stimulus bill and the president? What does any of it have to do with a chimpanzee being shot, other than youre making a crude reference that the president and a monkey is the same thing, said Sharpton
