Dick Cheney Unapologetic of Water Boarding Torture
Dick Cheney has once again defended his stance regarding water boarding torture as he did in February 7th 2008.
He was asked if he would recant his previous stance on water boarding use on Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, planner of the 9/11 attacks, he said "I don't".
"I was aware of the programme, certainly, and involved in helping get the process cleared, as the agency in effect came in and wanted to know what they could and couldn't do," Cheney said.
"If you bring them here to the U.S. and put them in our local court system, then they are entitled to all kinds of rights that we extend only to American citizens. Remember, these are unlawful combatants." He said.
